Veterinary Surgeon

We have a fantastic opportunity now available at Cliffe Vets for a Farm Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive practice and team. The role is offering with a core blend of dairy, beef, sheep, smallholder and gamebird work. We operate an equally shared rota with 1st and 2nd on-call weekend rota during busy spring and autumn calving periods, and currently 1:6 weekend rota the remainder of the year and one weeknight on-call. Generous lieu time pre-and post-weekend and bonus schemes are a feature of our OOH rota.

Salary

Competitive Salary dependant on experience.

About the Team

Our farm team consists of 8 Vets, 2 TB Testers and 3 support staff. We are a friendly and diverse team, with several of us having been here for many years! This is an opportunity to live in a beautiful area in the South Downs with great transport links. CPD is encouraged and funded with additional study time offered for those working towards certificates. We have an open and supportive culture in practice and truly value the skills and company of all on the team.

Applicant Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic applicant to join our team. Recent graduates or more experienced Vets considered, with flexibility for the role to be adapted to your level of experience. Previous farm animal experience is preferred but recent graduates are encouraged and would be very well supported throughout their progression by certificate holders with a wealth of training experience.
